I know Twitter has a lot of traffic but I am curious how well their architecture does scale. I am getting many times something like this here
That is annoying.
I am using Twitter and Google+, too. And for me it seems that Facebook and Google are doing a better Job with scaling.

Something going wrong doesn’t imply bad scaling practices. It can be anything from a downed service, to falling in a test group thats running broken code.
Right! Anyway. That happens me on twitter much more frequently then on Facebook or Google+. But maybe you are right and it has nothing to do with the scaling ability.
